Throughout my whole life I’ve been fascinated by tales of the supernatural, scary stories, legends and the paranormal. I’ve enjoyed hearing a good scary story and being too scared to go to bed without a light on.

Back when I was in my 20’s, I began writing down all the scary stories I heard over the years from my dad and others. They are stories that scared me to the core, especially when first hearing them as a child. They stories that still haunt me to this day. Many of them center in and around the small village of Llanfair, Pennsylvania, where I grew up.

I wanted to write these stories down because I think they are unique and give a glimmer into local history and folklore and bring you a few steps into the edge of the darkness that we all fear. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed writing them and I hope they scare you, at least a little bit.
